I created my own brief This project was based on reverse engineering and brand extension. Before designing my product I did a product autopsy on a hairdryer to find out how it works and it's components. My final design is a compact hairdryer which fits within handbags. The target market are women who are out and about but are worried about their appearance. This useful device means that you are able to style and dry your hair no matter where you are, if you're in a rush or whether you were caught off guard by the weather.
